Brief
Our ongoing campaign for the hugely popular MMORPG FINAL FANTASY XIV, has been to promote ANZ awareness of the game, specifically the recently established Oceania data centre, latest expansion Dawntrail and the expanded features of the free trial, allowing players to become the Warrior of Light and play free up to level 70.
To do this we have engaged some of Australia’s top gaming talent such as Stephanie Bendixsen, AussieAntics and Nalopia to stream the game consistently and showcase the fantastical world of Eorzea to their audiences
Strategy
As the campaign has evolved our strategy has primarily focused on two key areas:

Relaying the key selling points of FINAL FANTASY XIV to newcomers in a fun and compelling way; including character creation, navigating the UI, Main Quest Scenario and Guild Quests

Engaging advanced FFXIV players through promoting things such as the latest expansion Dawntrail and leveraging international events such as the FFXIV Fan Festival, intimate local fan gatherings and gaming conventions such as PAX Australia
Results
Across a total of 31 streams, the campaign for FINAL FANTASY XIV generated the following:

§ 155 hours+ of content
§ 200,000+ unique viewers
§ 350,000+ total views
§ Over 70 hours of additional organic from partners
